Sosanna Tomazou

Sosanna Tomazou is a theatre set and costume designer, professionally active in the field of performing arts and arts education. She studied Theatre and Performance Design (BA) at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts in the United Kingdom (2012–2015) and completed the SITAM Diploma in the Italian system of pattern cutting, tailoring, and garment construction (2018–2021). Since September 2025, she has been enrolled in the Master’s programme “Creative Learning and the Arts in Childhood (MA)” at the University of Cyprus.

Since 2015, she has been working professionally as a set and costume designer, collaborating with the Cyprus Theatre Organisation (THOC) as well as with independent theatres in Cyprus. At the same time, from 2015 to 2024, she taught scenography, costume design, and applied arts at AIGAEA School of Fine and Applied Arts, working with children, teenagers, students, and adults. She has also participated in seminars and training programmes related to teaching through the arts, creating theatre for children, and contemporary pedagogical approaches.

Since February 2025, she has been working as an Assistant Producer at the Cyprus Theatre Organisation.

Her professional path combines theatrical creation with arts education, with a particular focus on theatre for children and creative learning, aiming to cultivate imagination, creativity, and artistic expression in children.
