Savvina Georgiou is an actress and a graduate of the Department of Theatre of the School of Fine Arts at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specialising in Acting. She has also received training in ballet and contemporary dance (ISTD). From an early stage, she became active in the theatre field as a founding member of the group Ek-Drasis, developing a strong presence in both Cyprus and Greece.

She has collaborated with major theatre organisations and companies such as the Cyprus Theatre Organisation (THOC), ETHAL Theatre, Antilogos Theatre, the group “Solo for Three,” LEXI Theatre, Peirasmos Productions, ANIMAGNET, Methodius Theatre, Morfi Cultural Group, and the Experimental Stage of Art (Thessaloniki), participating in a wide range of productions for both adult and young audiences. At the same time, she has taken part in international and local cultural initiatives, including the Nicosia International Festival, with performances that have also toured abroad.

Her professional activity extends to television, with appearances in series produced by RIK and ANT1 Cyprus, as well as in film. In addition, she has experience in theatre education and creative drama, through collaborations with schools and educational programmes. Savvina Georgiou actively contributes to the creation and promotion of high-quality theatre, with a particular focus on productions aimed at children and young people.
